What am I consuming? November 2019
a.k.a Eve gushes over fellow bloggers.
I’ve consumed more media this month than I have in quite some time, and because of that I thought I do a little roundup of all the things I’ve found interesting this past month or so.
Naturally, there are some links missing (if I remember I will go back and add them), but here are a handful of posts, videos, and programmes that I think are worth taking the time to check out!
Quinn Rhodes: Acknowledging your privilege isn’t going to be fun.
Read this post once, then read it again. Quinn writes some wonderful posts that really make you think.
The Smutlancer: Setting Goals You Can Achieve
… I still don’t understand the notion of setting realistic goals, but I’m getting there!
Molly Moore: A Period is the End of a Sentence Not the End of Sex
Have I mentioned that Molly is one of my favourite people – even though I’ve only met her briefly at Eroticon? This post is brilliant, and I’m kind of in love with the last paragraph.
If you don’t like mentions or images of blood this post isn’t for you.
Girl on the Net (Guest Post): Sex with anxiety.
My anxiety has peeked recently, and this hit me. More often than not my own anxiety will get in the way of sex, or even masturbation, and posts like this really make me feel that I’m not alone.
This is such an important post as many chronically ill people have to do their own research. This post has really given me the kick up the butt I’ve needed in regards to compiling medical info and preparing it for doctors.
Molly More: Top 100 Sex Blogs of 2019 List
If you’re looking to find new blog to read, peruse Molly’s list! It’s a good way to diversify your content, and I’ve discovered a few bloggers from it that I’d not been aware of before.
Amazingly, somehow ranked #9 this year!
Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj: All the episodes.
I’m a big fan of political comedy, and next to John Oliver, Hasan Minhaj has become my new favourite comedian.
Explained/The Mind Explained Series
Everything about this series is fascinating, I’ve been slowly making my way through the episodes over the past few weeks.
Broken: Season 1
This series can either pump yo up, or depress you – so be careful. I like to think I’m not that naive, and that I’m ‘wordly’, but gosh. Every time I think people can’t get any worse, they do.
Tiffany Ferguson: Internet Analysis
I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole of Internet Analysis videos because Tiffany has such a clear and concise way of getting her point across (and she puts time stamps in the video descriptions) without demanding your attention. You want to listen to her, and what she has to say.
If I disappear from Twitter for a bit, I’m binge watching her videos!
Bonus: I now know what an ‘egirl’ is!
Vlogbrothers: I’m Just Really Mad About Heteronyms…
Language is so cool, and I love it. If you know anything about me you’ll also know I love John and Hank Green. I talk more about why over on Patreon.
Emma Watkins is just so happy. I’ve watched this a few times because it’s such a pallet cleanser to the world today.
I can’t go here, nor can I eat the foods, so naturally I watch someone else eat them … multiple times.
My question to you, have you discovered any programmes on Netflix that make you stop and think recently?
